Return Policy
Cerchdisti is a publisher, not a retailer. This policy explains who handles returns for products featured on this site, and summarises the statutory rights you hold as a consumer in the United Kingdom.

1. We do not sell products
Cerchdisti Media Ltd operates cerchdisti.com as an advertising and review publication. We do not manufacture, stock, sell, deliver or install doors, glazing or any other goods. When you follow a link from this website you leave cerchdisti.com and enter into a contract directly with the third-party retailer. In the case of the Part Q 1800mm Grey Aluminium Bifold Doors – 3 Left featured on our home page, that retailer is Climadoor.
Because no contract of sale is formed with us, we cannot accept returns, issue refunds, arrange collections, replace damaged goods, or amend or cancel an order. Any request of that nature must be made to the retailer that took your payment.
2. How to start a return with the retailer
- Locate your order confirmation email and note the order number and product code (for the reviewed set, LIFEGRYALIBI18003LPTQ).
- Contact the retailer's customer service team in writing, stating your order number, the reason for return and whether you are cancelling under statutory rights or returning a faulty item.
- Keep the goods in the condition in which they were delivered, including all packaging, protective film, fixings, hardware and documentation, until the retailer confirms the next steps.
- Retain proof of postage or collection paperwork until your refund is received.
3. Your statutory rights (summary)
3.1 Distance selling cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a consumer who buys goods online generally has 14 calendar days from the day the goods are received to cancel the contract, and a further 14 days to return them. Refunds are normally due within 14 days of the retailer receiving the goods back or of proof of return being provided.
3.2 Important exceptions for doors and glazing
The statutory cancellation right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specification or are clearly personalised. Made-to-measure door sets, non-standard sizes, bespoke finishes, special glazing specifications and cut or machined timber are commonly excluded on this basis. Standard-size, stocked sets are usually returnable, but the retailer may deduct a restocking or collection charge and may require the goods to be unfitted and unglazed. Confirm the position with the retailer before ordering.
3.3 Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a short-term right to reject (normally within 30 days), or to repair, replacement or a price reduction thereafter. These rights are exercised against the retailer, not the manufacturer and not against us.
4. Damage in transit
Glazed door sets are fragile and are usually delivered kerbside on a pallet. Inspect the pallet before signing, photograph any damage to the packaging or the goods, note the damage on the delivery paperwork, and report it to the retailer within the window stated in their terms — this is frequently 24 to 48 hours. Failing to inspect on delivery can limit the remedies available to you.
5. Installed goods
Once a door set has been fitted, drilled, cut, sealed or decorated it is generally treated as accepted and can no longer be returned as unwanted. Manufacturer guarantees (20 years aluminium frame · 10 years glazing) may still apply to defects in materials or manufacture, subject to correct installation and maintenance in accordance with the supplied instructions.
6. Returns relating to Cerchdisti itself
We do not charge our readers, operate a shop, take payments or run a subscription. If you believe you have been charged by an entity presenting itself as Cerchdisti, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so that we can investigate a possible impersonation.
7. Complaints and escalation
If a retailer does not resolve a return to your satisfaction, you may be able to escalate to an alternative dispute resolution scheme they belong to, to your card issuer under chargeback or section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 where applicable, or to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards. Complaints about the accuracy of our editorial content should be sent to [email protected] and will be acknowledged within five working days.
